Coronavirus Letter to Families

March 10th, 2020

Dear Kid Works Families,

We wanted to communicate with you regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) as many of you may have questions or concerns and we appreciate the trust you’ve placed in us to care for and instruct your children.

We continue to receive instruction from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and have and will continue to post any new information from them to our parent boards in order to keep you informed.

We are also monitoring the National Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as this outbreak unfolds. Please look to those organizations for information and precautions you can take.

Direct links are provided here:
CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/index.html
WHO: https://www.who.int/health-topics/coronavirus

To that end we want to reassure you all that we are following Kid Works/ODJFS standard daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and sanitizing procedures along with additional enhanced washing and disinfecting/sanitizing activities as we continue to be diligent with cleaning and sanitizing.

Be assured that our entire Kid Works staff is committed to continue delivering the cleanest, safest environment we can provide. Please note that we have also secured additional cleaning and disinfecting/sanitizing supplies as we prepare for possible shortages in the future. We ask that you as parents help us by washing your hands upon arrival and of course any use of the restrooms and continue to practice common-sense personal hygiene. Please do not hesitate to contact your Administrator directly if you ever have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

The Kid Works Team
