Oumou has a current Child Development Associate Certification from the National Council for Professional Recognition and 10 years’ experience in Early Childhood. She is also a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Oumou began working as an Infant caregiver after her son was born so she could remain as close as possible to him while he was a very young infant. She then moved into a cooking position for several years helping out doing office tasks and some administrative duties. Oumou’s drive and passion for children later led her into an administrative role. In her free time, she loves to laugh and joke while spending time with her family. She is a very active mother of two, loves to shop and loves seafood.

I get so happy when children I have taught in the early years come back to visit me as older school-age children. Watching them grow into responsible young adults and knowing I played an important, positive role in that is very gratifying!”
